Who will host the Men's T20 World Cup in 2024?

The upcoming T20 World Cup will be co-hosted by the West Indies and the United States, marking the inaugural inclusion of ICC World Cup matches being played in the US.

According to an article on icc-cricket.com, Peter Hutton, Chair of T20 World Cup Incorporated, expressed excitement about bringing the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup to New York City, Dallas, and Florida. He emphasized the opportunity to grow the sport exponentially in the USA.

What stadiums will host the 2024 T20 World Cup?

A thrilling opportunity awaits 10 teams as they play their initial matches in the USA. The tournament has scheduled a total of 16 matches to be held in Lauderhill, Dallas, and New York.

The remaining matches will take place in Barbados, Guyana, Antigua & Barbuda, Trinidad & Tobago, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, and St. Lucia at iconic stadiums such as Grand Prairie Stadium, The Kensington Oval, Providence Stadium, Eisenhower Park, Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium, Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Arnos Vale Stadium, and Darren Sammy Cricket Ground.

What is the format of the World Cup 2024?

The T20 World Cup 2024 will feature 20 teams, evenly divided into four groups of five, resulting in 55 matches.

The top two teams from each group will progress to the Super Eight phase, where the remaining teams will compete in two groups of four.
